Born June 20, 1912, in New York City, Clive L. DuVal 2nd, graduated summa cum laude in 1935 from Yale University where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In 1938, he received an LL.B. from Yale University Law School. While a law student, he edited the Yale Law Journal. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917, to Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy of Brookline, Massachusetts.
